Hardware Wallet

A hardware wallet is a type of cryptocurrency wallet where user’s private keys are stored in a secure physical hardware device. These private keys cannot be transferred out of the device in plain text that make these wallets immune to computer viruses that steal from software wallets.

They are built to protect your private key even if the device they are connected to is compromised by malware. You can even use them with a public computer you don’t trust.

These wallets communicates with manufacturer’s desktop or mobile app interface to securely view, send and receive cryptocurrencies.
